The project has a tenure of 47 months and is divided into 3 stages i.e.
(i) Design Stage;
(ii) Tendering Stage and
(iii) Implementation Stage.

Accordingly, the project outputs have been divided into 5 Engineering Packages and 5 Soft Components i.e.

Package 2: Transfer Stations and Compost Plants
Package 3: Regional Waste Management Center
Package 4: Heavy Equipment & Transfer Haul Vehicles & Containers
Package 5: Road Improvement

Component 1: Environmental Education and Public Awareness
Component 2: Rag-pickers Livelihood Improvement Program
Component 3: Management Information System
Component 4: Environmental Management
Component 5: Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Development
